EU - Registered Community Design
The registered Community design enjoys protection in all member states of the European Union. Applications for designs already in circulation maybe filed within one year grace period. The protection endures for 5 years, from the day of filing. This time period can be prolonged for a maximum 25 years. The EU design authority, OHIM, does not execute novelty search, therefore registration can be managed within three months.
